Program Mission

We are committed to Share God’s Love through Developmentally Appropriate Programs which encourage Active Relationships and Celebrate the Uniqueness of the Individual Child while Strengthening and Supporting Families in our community.

Sharing God’s Love

Children’s spiritual development is fostered through the unconditional love and support they receive from our staff, through prayer, songs, stories and

recognition of creation and God’s blessings.    Children and families attend Chapel times which include short stories, songs and prayer.  Our preschool offers

opportunities for children and families to participate in mission throughout the year by reaching beyond our preschool community to help fill the need of others.

Program Options/Enrollment

Our preschool is open to children/families regardless of race, creed /color or ability, which might benefit from our program.
Programs are offered for children 1 year of age – 5 years of age. Programs include:

Program Options for Children turning 5 on or before December 2, 2010
Monday-Thursday                             8:30 - 11:30   or    12:30 – 3:30
Monday/Wednesday/Friday               8:30 – 11:30   or   12:30 – 3:30
Registration for these “5 year olds” will be in the Preschool Office on Wednesday, February 24 beginning at 8:00am. Due to facility limitations, we can only offer one morning four day class and two afternoon four day classes.  However, in combination, these four day classes are expected to provide adequate class spaces for all five year olds expected in our program.  Be aware that because morning spaces in our four day class are particularly limited, these spaces traditionally fill up quickly. This year we are intentionally balancing the four day classes with four year olds and five year olds.  A percentage of the class spaces will be reserved for each age group.  Please consider remaining open to all of our five year old class options.

Registration for “4 year olds” will be Thursday, February 25 8:00-11:00 on the Church patio, 11:00-4:00 in the Preschool Office or February 26 8:00-4:00 in the Preschool Office. Spaces are limited and fill up quickly, especially for the morning classes. Please note:  This is the only three year old class option for children whose birth date is after December 2 and before December 31.

Family Education Classes

Learning Together with your 1 year old:
Class days/times, and cost will be posted in May for Fall Classes.
Enjoy one hour of interactive learning with your child through developmental activities, learn songs and rhymes and discover new skills and strategies that will stimulate your one year olds growing brain and body.

Growing Together with your 2 year old:
Class days/times, and cost will be posted in May for Fall Classes.
Enjoy one hour and fifteen minutes of developmental learning through play during inside and outside time with your child.   

 

Explore and More for 3-5 year olds:
Class days/times, and cost will be posted in May for Fall Classes.
Enjoy 1 hour and 30 minutes explore with your child developmental activities and increase your child’s school readiness skills through cooking, science, reading, writing and art.
